Exciting September 2022 Game Trailers That Have My Interest

September 2022 game trailers have dropped, getting everyone excited for the holidays. Maybe Santa will deliver coal since it’s going to be a cold winter. We’ve seen everything from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I won’t be reporting on every single game trailer that dropped because let’s be honest, the showcases this year were a snooze fest. I will, however, talk about some games that have peaked my interest.

COD Next

Call of Duty Mobile and Modern Warfare 2 are on my list strictly for the multiplayer. Third-person mode will be the mode I play most until it becomes toxic.

Warzone Mobile claims it will have 120 real players and will feature cross-progression support to Warzone 2.0/ Modern Warfare 2 gameplay. It looks similar to the 2019 version, but has some interface changes to separate it from looking like a clone.

The slide cancel mechanic was removed, but people have already found a workaround. The MW2 beta will be available from September 16-26, 2022. The official release is October 28, 2022.

September 2022 Game Trailers: Capcom

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition is packed with new content and updates. Third-person mode with new animations, Shadow of Rose DLC story that involves Ethan Winters’ daughter 16 years after the events of the original game, and Mercenary Mode where you play as mommy Lady Dimitrescu.

I watched the full playthrough of this game when it came out and watched numerous modded content of Dimitrescu. The game is coming out on October 28, 2022.

The Street Fighter 6 trailer showed legacy fighters alongside new characters Jamie and Kimberly. World Tour mode allows a custom fighter to venture out in side-scrolling beat-em-up stages and take on other players.

Extreme Battle mode has bombs and bulls on the stage and has the potential to be toxic. The closed beta opens October 7-10.

Nintendo Direct

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer looked like Breath of the Wild. Other than Link skydiving, there was no real hype for the one minute that was shown. TOTK is a sequel to BOTW but adding a 2 would’ve been too easy for Nintendo. Updates will be posted as they come along.
