Kyrie Irving Proves African American Celebrities Aren’t Free

Kyrie Irving In Hot Water!?

The Brooklyn Nets suspended Kyrie Irving on November 3rd, 2022, on suspicion of being Anti-Semitic. Something in the past where crosses or something hateful was displayed or hostility was shown to a group of people. Whether it be jobs or inadequate housing. Something still done to a group in the not-so-United States of America. looking into what happened. Kyrie Irving shared a link on Twitter the link was to a film title “Hebrew to Negroes” where it is rumored that something was mentioned about slave-ships owned by a certain group. Irving explained his side of the story, portraying how he is not anti-Semitic and has love for all peoples. He apologized more than once for the incident.

One would think that, after a while, African-American celebrities would stop talking about this group of people, especially when they’re writing your check. It’s one thing to see someone is unmovable in their beliefs, and it’s something else to see them reverse it once they’re put on the spot.

The Civil Rights era of having networks, jobs, and companies is long gone. Instead of fighting the power, people want to be in bed with it. I don’t know Mr. Ivring’s living situation, but the league had a list of demands for him to perform. Let’s go over those, shall we?

  • Apologize and condemn the film he promoted
  • Make a $500,000 donation to anti-hate causes
  • Complete sensitivity training
  • Complete anti-semetism training
  • Meet with the ADL and Jewish leaders
  • Meet with team owner Joe Tsai to demonstrate an understanding of the situation

Were the requirements for him to get back into the league over excessive? Yes, I would say they were. Kyrie Irving made news last year for going against the nationwide vaccine mandate. Many people are under the impression that he was owed back payment in the state of New York. If people know one thing, they know the powers that be wasn’t going to allow that to happen.

Being a masculine man, let alone a “minority” with resources is not something that isn’t allowed to go unchecked in the mainstream media. To say you’re “free” in one interview and then backtrack is face-palm worthy.

As far as we know, he is reinstated and back in the sport. Did he follow all of the steps or is this more propaganda? Irving and the rest of the African-American celebrities need to stop being radical unless they are willing to put their money where their mouth is in 2022. The same thing happened to Nick Cannon, who mentioned the same group, that group cut off his money faucet, and he made an apology as well. Celebrities with more resources than life still don’t have it all together.

They don’t own any radio stations or major TV stations. They are playing in another nation’s yard and wondering why they are being watched. Those who hold the keys to information know who they truly are and have done a lot to bury history, facts, and culture.

Those on the path of enlightenment will find their way when the time is right. Getting the light shined on information and having the same person denounce it is quite sad. Not only for the party that shared the information, but for the offended party. I guess sharing information that doesn’t fit into a narrative makes someone a bigot and anti-everything.

The way it’s been trending lately with Kanye West, Kyrie Irving, and Dave Chappelle makes one think it’s something organic or is it another part of the scheme of things?
